Machine polishing

Swirls, wash marks and light scratches make a car look older than it is. Machine polishing removes them from the paint instead of filling them with glaze.

Machine Polish

From £350

A single stage polish over the whole exterior. It suits most cars with everyday wear: automatic car wash swirls, light scratches and paint that has gone flat.

  • Safe wash and full decontamination
  • Paint inspected before we start
  • Single stage machine polish of every painted panel
  • Final inspection with you before we leave

Single stage or two stage?

We recommend one once we have seen the paint.

Single stage

One polishing step. Brings back gloss and clarity and removes lighter swirls and marks. Right for most cars that have been looked after.

Two stage, from +£200

A compounding step to cut out deeper swirls and scratches, then a finishing step to bring the gloss back. For paint that has been badly washed or left for years.

Keep the finish

Polished paint is at its best the day we hand it back. Polish + Ceramic adds a ceramic coating straight after the polish, so the finish is protected and far easier to keep clean. From £900.

About ceramic coating

Looking after polished paint

  • Wash with a pH-neutral shampoo and clean microfibre mitts
  • Use two buckets so grit stays off the paint
  • Avoid automatic car washes with brushes
  • Dry with a soft drying towel, not a chamois or squeegee
